My Role

My mission, as the Chief Executive Officer at Boldly Speaking, is to transform the experiences of women and people of color in the workplace. I strive to empower underrepresented employees by equipping them with the skills to self-advocate, self-promote, and capitalize on leadership roles within ERGs and throughout organizations.

What I love most about my role

I get to say YES to opportunities that align with the impact I want to make. And the impact I want to make includes elevating underestimated communities, amplifying marginalized voices, and fostering a culture of inclusion where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

How I define success


I define success when the people I work with feel empowered to self-advocate, self-promote, and own their narrative. It’s about helping individuals find their voice and confidence, enabling them to share their stories and advocate for their needs. When they feel empowered to take charge of their journey, that’s when I know I’ve made a meaningful impact.

The best piece of business advice I ever received was

The best piece of business advice I’ve received is "don’t move fast, move intentionally." It’s a reminder to be thoughtful and intentional in my decisions, ensuring that every action aligns with my values, purpose, and goals. Taking the time to reflect and plan has been crucial in building a sustainable and impactful business.

What would I tell my younger self

I would encourage my younger self to be brave and bold, to seize opportunities with confidence, and to trust in her own abilities. I would tell her to surround herself with people who share her values and to be open to the support they offer.

To me, 2B Bolder means embracing authenticity and stepping out of my comfort zone for things that matter. It’s about having the courage to express my true self, advocate for my beliefs, and take risks that can lead to personal and professional growth. It's also about modeling this behavior for others.
